She Tried It! HUM Nutrition’s Runway Ready And Daily Cleanse

September 3, 2015  |

This past Spring I bought a shampoo that didn’t agree with my hair. Unfortunately, certain sections of my hair had severe breakage because of it and in order for it to grow back, my hairdresser layered my hair. To further rectify my hair needs, I decided to try HUM Nutrition since friends gave it excellent reviews.

Before I ordered any products, I took HUM’s personal quiz to create the right supplement package for me. The quiz was composed of questions about my diet and my body’s personal needs and when it ended, my results were emailed to me and I was assigned a personal nutritionist to answer any inquiries I had about the supplements and explain the results which suggested I use the Runway Ready hair supplements and Daily Cleanse vitamins for hair breakage and acne.

The Runway Ready product consists of a vegan biotin supplement with two soft gel capsules sourced with black currant seed oil and sunflower seed oil. With the use of these ingredients,  the Runway Ready supplements promise: “fuller hair, stronger hair, and glowing skin.” The capsules’ main ingredient, Black currant seed oil, is a source of GLA (gamma-linoleic acid) and ALA (alpha-linoleic acid). Both stimulate cells for  healthy skin and hair growth. ALA helps with promoting  anti-inflammatory agents such as omega-3 fatty acid. Sunflower seed oil consists of Vitamin E and fatty acids that help promote shiny hair. Vitamin E prevents aging, skin damage and increases hair follicle circulation. With the gel capsules strengthening  your hair growth,  the biotin supplement generates hair’s cell growth to prevent shedding.

While the Runway Ready supplements make your hair flawless, HUM’s Daily Cleanse revives your skin. Created with over 10 detox herbs and organic algae, the Daily Cleanse purges your liver, bowel, kidneys and lungs of toxicity. With important ingredients such as chlorella, red clover, beetroot and cooper, my skin appeared much clearer.

I took both products simultaneously for six weeks and the results were phenomenal! The areas where my hair had breakage have grown back, and overall, my hair is thicker. As for my skin, the Daily Cleanse helped with my hormonal acne. Body Ecology reports certain foods trigger a hormonal imbalance in some people and when not digested thoroughly, these foods become toxic to your digestive system. By incorporating more vegetables and probiotic yogurt in my diet along with the Daily Cleanse, breakouts were minimal and I didn’t feel or look tired. Besides my hair and skin, the Runway Ready supplements made my nails stronger.

I believe HUM Nutrition has the best hair and skin products on the market and unlike other supplements I did not experience any side-effects.

HUM’s Runway Ready supplements are priced at $35 and the Daily Cleanse vitamins, at $25.  Both are available for purchase at Sephora or on the HUM Nutrition  website
