Teens have always pushed the boundaries when it comes to fashion, but one school in West Virginia decided an eighth grader took things too far. Jarred Marcum came to school in April with a pro-NRA t-shirt that read “Protect your rights” and showed a rifle. A teacher told him the shirt wasn’t appropriate and things escalated, ending in Jarred’s arrest. He went to court this week in a case that has people split over whether this is a First Amendment issue or just a kid being insensitive. See what Jarred has to say about his shirt below.
