After more than a year of lying to anyone who asked, “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” star MimI Faust is finally admitting that the sex tape she filmed with former boyfriend Nikko Smith was planned from the very beginning.
She told US Weekly, that not only was the sex tape absolutely not stolen from Nikko’s luggage, the decision to enter into an agreement with Vivid Entertainment, the distributor of the sex tape, was premeditated and consensual for both parties.
“The way he went about was, ‘Our lovemaking is like art, we should document this.’ All that New York, Brooklyn suave bullshit. And I was like ‘Yeah, yeah.’ Really, that’s how Nikko and I connected, was sexually. We had a great sex life.
After him saying we should do this, I agreed and then at that point he was like, ‘We should put this out. This would be good.’ Always thinking of ways to make money, these master plans and these schemes and shit. And I went along with it.”
Mimi said that they had to come up with some type of way to explain the tape’s origins.
And though she still gets paid for the video once every quarter, she still claims that she regrets the decision.
“Stupid decision? Yes. I wish I could take it back? Abso-fucking-lutely.”
Ugh!
We all had our suspicions. But honestly, I believed that since Mimi has a young daughter to consider, Nikko was the one who had backed her into a corner. Clearly, I was more naive than I should have been, but I really believed portions of her story. So, while this might be something of a non-story to y’all, I find it a bit disappointing.
