Tommy learns Angela’s true identity
After killing Nomar last season as a favor to Ruiz, Tommy is shocked to learn that Angela is a United States Attorney, who hired Nomar as an informant. The distressing revelation leads him to do a little digging that includes breaking into Angela’s apartment, which is when he discovers that both he and Ghost are being investigated by their high school pal.
Convinced that Ghost is assisting Angela with her investigation and plotting to set him up, Tommy decides to skip town.

Kanan is home
His assassination attempt on Ghost backfires and results in the shooting of Tommy’s girlfriend, Holly, but Kanan still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve. Since he was unsuccessful in having Ghost murdered before his prison sentence ended, Kanan plots to destroy Ghost and Tommy from the inside of their criminal organization with the assistance of his son, Shawn.

Stern swoops down on Truth
Ghost wasn’t interested in going into business with him last season, but a shrewd businessman like Simon Stern never takes no for an answer. While Ghost was busy playing cleanup following the shooting at Truth, Stern swooped down and purchased the property from Ghost’s landlord. Now, the ruthless drug dealer is left with two options: abandon his beloved nightclub or bite the bullet and work with Stern.

Ghost learns that he needs Tasha after all
Though he seemed thoroughly disgusted with Tasha’s attachment to his criminal lifestyle last season, with Tommy missing and Truth shut down, Ghost quickly learns that he needs Tasha after all. In order to sell product, Tasha instructs him on how to take over enemy territory.

Tasha confronts Ghost about Angela
It was only a matter of time before Tasha confronted Ghost with the information she has about his affair with Angela. However, their “Come to Jesus” meeting goes surprisingly well. After hitting him with a simple, “Stop seeing Angela,” he calmly agrees to take care of it. He even comes back after the fact to tell her that he broke things off with his mistress. If only he were telling the truth.

Angela faces consequences
While Angela was occupied with all of that passionate lovemaking, she and Ghost had last season, her professional life was rapidly falling apart. Angela’s colleagues blame her for Nomar’s death and remove her from the Lobos Task Force.

In addition to her professional life falling apart, it seems that her personal life is unraveling as well. The reality that she’s seeing a married man hits Angela like a ton of bricks when Ghost informs her that the “divorce” is being postponed, and he’ll be spending more time at home.

Tasha establishes her exit strategy
Even though Ghost agreed to end his affair with Angela, and Tasha wants to believe him, her survival instincts won’t allow her to be a sitting duck. To ensure that she’ll be alright should things hit the fan, she sets up a secret bank account and begins stashing money away.

Angela gets her hands dirty
After being forbidden to involve herself with the Lobos Task Force, Angela blatantly disobeys orders and begins communicating with Ruiz’s daughter Isabel using Nomar’s old cell phone in hopes of learning Ghost’s true identity.

Tommy outs Angela as a federal state prosecutor
Ghost eventually catches up with Tommy at his mother’s home in Queens. Guns are drawn, and Tommy accuses his friend of being a rat. However, after a few moments of back and forth, Tommy realizes Ghost is clueless to what’s happening. Ghost is stunned to learn that Angela works for the feds and Tommy demands that he kill her, immediately.

Tommy learns that Holly has been shot
After dropping the explosive Angela bomb on Ghost, Tommy learns that Holly has been shot.
