While some people have used their Black Greek letters to get on TV (“Sorority Sisters,” we’re looking at you…), other big name stars ended up blowing up because of their talent and connections, and many just so happen to be members of the Black Greek Letter Organizations. They don’t throw it anybody’s faces, but they represent well for their fraternity or sorority (well…most of them). Need examples? Here are some famous folks we didn’t realize were Black Greeks, and these individuals actually pledged.

Nnamdi Asomugha
Now that I think about it, I’m surprised that no one has tried to make Kerry Washington an honorary sorority member by now…but there’s already a Greek in the family. Her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, pledged the Gamma Alpha chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi while at the University of California, Berkeley.
Colin Kaepernick
Another football star who is a Kappa is Colin Kaepernick. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback pledged the Xi Phi chapter at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Some already knew that Towanda Braxton is a member of Zeta Phi Beta (she pledged at Bowie State University through the Omicron Gamma chapter), but Traci is a Zeta as well. Or at least, that’s what she says, as well as other Zetas.
