When celebrities act up, they can get the boot just like everyone else and that includes being fired from television shows. These stars were shown the door after displaying bad behavior, like fighting with a co-star or, even worse, the show’s creator.

Benzino and Althea

Before it even aired, the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” reunion show was making headlines. That’s because things got so crazy on the set, numerous fights broke out. And Joseline Hernandez was in the middle of it all. The Puerto Rican princess and her hubby Stevie J. got into it with his former bff Benzino and his fiancée Althea. But even though Joseline was the instigator and the cause of all of the drama, producers of the show let Benzino and Althea go.

Porsha Williams

Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore joined the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” at the same time and they got off on the wrong foot from the beginning. After two seasons together, everything finally boiled over with Porsha and she snapped during taping of the reunion show. As a result, the former beauty queen ended up on the floor and host Andy Cohen asked Porsha to leave for the day. But now it looks like she’s been demoted. For the upcoming season, the newly divorcee has been downgraded to a friend to the show.

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey

“American Idol” was very popular when it first debuted but by season 12, producers were looking to boost the show’s ratings. Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey were brought in and the tension between the two artists behind the scenes was more interesting than the show itself. TMZ got its hands on some footage of the Young Money rapper getting into it with the legendary diva and she ended up giving her a verbal lashing. But none of the drama helped the ratings and they were both let go. Minaj, who has a penchant for being late, also infamously showed up wearing a hoodie and shades after a live taping of the show had already begun.

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen’s departure from “Two and a Half Men” was as epic as it was sad. Sheen infamously got into it with the show’s creator Chuck Lorre after he complained that his hard-partying ways began to interfere with taping. Sheen vehemently denied that his penchant for cocaine and prostitutes were getting in the way of performing his job and the two duked it out in the media. Sheen was fired but he took the executives and studio to court for wrongful termination. He ended up getting the money that was contractually owed to him.

Janet Hubert

Fighting with the star of a television show can never end in a good way and Janet Hubert certainly learned that lesson. Fans of the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” were surprised to find out that Aunt Viv had been replaced. But the feuding behind closed doors between Hubert and the show’s star Will Smith was well documented. Hubert was let go from the show after her contract expired and replaced by Daphne Reid. Smith claimed that Hubert was bitter because she wasn’t the star of the show while she countered that the rapper turned actor was immature on the set.

Isaiah Washington

Isaiah Washington was a part of the ensemble cast of “Grey’s Anatomy” until he got into it with co-star T.R. Knight. Washington called Knight, who is openly gay, a slur for homosexual men and he soon found himself off of the show. He had a hard time finding work after “Grey’s Anatomy” and things got so bad that he was even facing eviction. However, Washington did reprise his character on last season’s finale.

Shannon Doherty

Shannon Doherty’s attitude got her in trouble on two different shows. She played Brenda Walsh on “Beverly Hills 90210” but her fellow co-stars complained that Doherty was difficult to get along with on the set. Her character was written off of the show at the end of the fourth season. Doherty also got into it with her “Charmed” co-star Alyssa Milano. The fighting behind the scenes got so bad that Doherty walked away from the show.

Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash made her return to television with the VH1 show “Single Ladies” but behind the scenes she was causing a lot of drama on the set. Dash was reportedly feuding with her co-star LisaRaye McCoy and on top of that, the “Mo Money” star started cancelling promo appearances for the show. After season one wrapped up, Dash was shown the door. Denise Vasi was brought in to take her place.

Holly Robinson Peete

Holly Robinson Peete was once one of the co-hosts on the daytime talk show “The Talk,” but she was handed the pink slip after just one season along with Leah Remini. The official reason for their sudden departure was never disclosed but word on the street was co-host Julie Chen was behind the decision because her husband Les Moonves runs CBS. Their other co-host Sharon Osbourne was also rumored to be involved in their departure. After she was fired Remini tweeted that Osbourne called her and Peete ghetto.

Chevy Chase

Chevy Chase marked his return to television by playing the cantankerous Pierce Hawthorne on “Community.” But by the fourth season he was going at it with the creator Dan Harmon over where the direction of the show was going. Chase decided to leave the show before he was fired and he left in 2012 after having filmed most of season four. Harmon killed his character Hawthorne off of the show the following season.

George Eads

For 14 seasons, George Eads collected a steady paycheck for starring on “CSI.” But he butted heads with one of the show’s writers and as a result, he was absent from several episodes. Eads was unhappy with the direction his character was going in and he voiced his concerns, which led to a heated argument on the set with the showrunner. Eads decided to take a leave of absence and threatened to quit but he eventually came to his senses and returned to work before he was fired.

Kirk Cameron

Kirk Cameron didn’t get fired from a show but his new beliefs got someone else canned from a television gig. He became a teen heartthrob while starring on “Growing Pains” but as the show progressed, so did his views on religion. Cameron found God and was soon complaining to the writers that the scripts were against his religious beliefs. He also turned on his onscreen girlfriend Julie McCullough and had her fired from the show because she once posed nude for “Playboy” magazine.
