Before the following individuals were known for snatching weaves, being called bullies and giving folks the creep eye, they were just trying to get their bills paid by doing music videos. But who knew they were popping up in some of our favorite music videos? Here are 10 reality stars who we never realized were in some of these popular music videos from back  in the day.

Claudia Jordan In “Me And Those Dreamin’ Eyes Of Mine” By D’Angelo

Before her days flipping open briefcases for the game show “Deal or No Deal,” and waaaaay before she was made a regular on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Jordan had the awesome opportunity to saunter around D’Angelo in his video for one of our favorite songs from the Brown Sugar album, “Me And Those Dreamin’ Eyes Of Mine.”

Kenya Moore In “Street Dreams” By Nas

Talk about lucky! Kenya Moore was in quite a few videos back in the day, but we couldn’t help but be jealous at the fact that she was able to lick Nas’ face as his main lady in the “Street Dreams” video. The clip was inspired by the film, Casino.

Cynthia Bailey In “Nuttin’ But Love” By Heavy D

Before she was declaring her love for Peter Thomas, Cynthia Bailey (and her very 1950s-ish wig) appeared in Heavy D’s “Nuttin’ But Love” video, which was one of the first visuals in the ’90s to feature actual fashion models/supermodels instead of just video models. No shade!

Mimi Faust In “It’s Gonna Rain” By Kelly Price

Her appearance wasn’t lengthy in Kelly Price’s video for “It’s Gonna Rain,” but she played a big role: She was the other woman trying to break up Price’s happy home. Faust also had the chance to flirt with Pharrell when she played one of the three ladies who caught his eye in the “Frontin'” video (which I’ve included below).

Sundy Carter In “Slow Jamz” By Twista

While Carter’s recent behavior on “Basketball Wives LA” might repel many, she had rapper Twista’s full attention as his leading lady (of sorts) in the “Slow Jamz” video, alongside Kanye West and Jamie Foxx.

Erica Mena In “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)” By Chris Brown

A young and pre-scandal Chris Brown was just taking over the music world when he danced for the affections of Erica Mena in the video for “Yo.” This is actually pretty interesting considering the fact that Brown and Bow Wow are good friends, and Erica Mena is now engaged to the rapper and actor.

Stevie J In “Honey (Remix)” By Mariah Carey

Alongside friends Diddy and Mase, Stevie J got his creep on while hugged up with Mariah Carey in the “Honey” remix video. If you were wondering why he was able to get so much camera time, it’s because Stevie actually helped write and produce this huge hit as part of Bad Boy’s Hitmen roster of writers and producers.

Porsha Williams In “Some Cut” by Trillville

Gyrating in a low-cut green dress, Porsha Williams was trying her hardest to get camera time in the video for this very explicit song. Way before she was given a ring (and then told to take it off) by Kordell Stewart, she was just trying to have some fun.

Karlie Redd In Baps

While she wasn’t in a specific music video, in a teeny tiny extra role in the movie Baps, Redd waited in line to battle for a spot in a music video. A super slim Redd didn’t get to say anything, or even show off a dance move, but she executed some very good confused facial expressions.

Flex In “Who Do U Love” By Deborah Cox

Now a star on “Flex & Shanice” on OWN, a long time ago, Flex Alexander was popping up in all kinds of music videos, including Deborah Cox’s “Who Do U Love.” In it, he played Cox’s two-timing boyfriend and showcased quite the interesting haircut. Oh the ’90s…
