“Health Comes First”: Missy Elliott Drops Another 30 Pounds, Attributes It To Healthy Eating And The “Insanity Workout”

After dropping around 70 pounds during her Under Construction days, Missy Elliott has dropped even more weight in an attempt to live healthier after being diagnosed with Graves disease.
Last week Elliott was spotted performing at Alexander Wang’s H&M collection launch in NYC last week, and everyone noticed that she was smaller than ever. From there, there were rumors swirling around about the “Work It” rapper losing another 70 pounds. According to Celebrity Health Fitness, she took to Twitter this week to set the record straight, and to share with fans what it took to get to such a small size:

“Didn’t lose 70 pounds. That was during my ‘Under Construction‘ album”

“This time I lost 30 eating healthy/work out to @ShaunTFitness T25 videos. I do the Insanity workout. Sweets/bread/ fried foods is my weakness. It’s not easy but health comes 1st :)”

Once Elliott put that out there, Shaun T reached out to her and she let him know how big of a fan she is of his workout videos, which I can say from personal experience, are tough.

She’s definitely looking like a skinny minnie these days, and we’re inspired! As she said, health comes first.
