We expect a little drama when the rich and famous get together, but shooting is rarely ever on our minds. Unfortunately that’s exactly what went down at these violent celebrity concerts and parties that took a turn for a worse.
Chris Brown’s VMA Party
Ever since he was released from prison earlier this year, Chris Brown has re-emerged on the party scene. This past weekend the “Kiss Kiss” singer hosted a pre-VMA party in L.A. along with Pia Mia when violence struck and party goers had to run for cover after shots rang out. While the LAPD believed Brown was the intended target, Death Row founder Suge Knight was caught in the crossfire. The hulking music executive was shot six times and rushed to the hospital. Knight is expected to recover following surgery.
