Selena Gomez got her start in the Disney circuit and as she’d gotten older, she’s shed some of that wholesome image she was known for. So it must’ve been refreshing for her to completely step out of her shoes and into a pair of Chuck Taylors. When she was tapped to host the MTV EMA’s, Gomez shot a promo for the awards ceremony that featured a flannel shirt-wearing, doorknocker earrings-wearer Gangster Gomez. Some of her raps included: “Who else better than me to be hosting the show? People know who the eff I is/ I’m a pro… Who’s the hostess with the mostess?/ I’m gonna be the focus/ S-E-L-E-N-A to the Gomez/ Yeah, you know I’m the dopest.”
