Not Being Able to Explain Your Resume
Your resumé (and sometimes your cover letter or connections) get you the interview, but just being able to regurgitate the information won’t land you a job. Candidates should be able and willing to explain everything on the resumé in further deal.
To that point: don’t include anything on your resumé that you can’t support. Being caught in a lie or being unable to apply your experience to the new position will leave a negative stain on your meeting.
