This morning at I was scrolling through my Facebook timeline searching for the latest tea, I saw a friend posted a “These H*es Ain’t Loyal Sermon” from Pastor Jamal Bryant. Although I love me some shenanigans, I thought, this has to be a joke! But alas, it is not. NewsOne reports that while preaching a sermon about homophobia, sexism and misogyny, the self-professed Millennial minister from Baltimore dropped the famous Chris Brown lyric: “These h*es ain’t loyal!” Afterward, his congregation roared with laughter and can be seen shouting while waving their arms in agreement.
Check out the clip from the sermon, “I’m My Enemies Worst Nightmare,” in the video below. Is Pastor Bryant just spreading the good word or doing too much?
Despite, his pop-culture savvy sermon Pastor Jamal Bryant is known for not only his questionable sermons but lifestyle. Pastor Bryant’s Wikipedia page states he only acknowledges four daughters and it is alleged he was in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old church member who became pregnant. His marriage also ended because of his infidelity. Pastor Bryant’s accolades include being the spiritual adviser to K-CI & Jojo and Omarosa. He has appeared in the media several times to discuss the state of the black church and community. He is a graduate of Morehouse College and Duke University.
