There has been another development in the domestic violence case being built against hip hop producer The-Dream, who has been accused of violently attacking his pregnant ex-girlfriend over a year ago. Up until this point, The-Dream has maintained his innocence, with sources insisting that ex-girlfriend, Lydia Nam, is simply accusing him of attacking her to obtain a special visa to remain in the United States. However, photos of Lydia following the alleged attack have been released to the public and her injuries look very real.
In the images, which have been obtained by TMZ, a pregnant Lydia appears to have sustained multiple bruises and cuts on her arm, neck and wrist. According to the criminal complaint filed by the new mom, The-Dream pulled and dragged her by her hair and strangled her with a necklace she was wearing by tightly and forcefully twisting it around her neck. She is also accusing him of kicking and punching her, pinning her to a wall and choking her.
In the complaint, she says that she did attempt to call the police during the incident, but was unable to do so after the “Throw It In The Bag” singer twisted her arm and threatened to kill her “like O.J. Simpson killed Nicole Brown.” As for why she waited so long to finally press charges, Lydia says she feared for her life.
