Celebs Who Put Their Cheating Men (And The Mistresses) On Blast In Public

Terry McMillan

It was no secret that Terry McMillan was enraged by the admission from her husband that he was gay after he had an affair with another man. Jonathan Plummer was the man who inspired How Stella Got Her Groove Back, but he would later become a pain in her a** during and after their divorce proceedings. During it, she did an interview where she referred to Plummer as “a f***ing Duracell, and I want him out of my f***ing life, and he won’t let me out of his life. I can’t live like this.” And during their divorce proceedings in court, Plummer reportedly shared angry letters McMillan had sent him (which went public), where she claimed she cheated on him too because she knew he was gay and cheating on her:

“I wonder how you’d feel if I told you that I had plenty of sex when I was in New York. When I was in Spain and Paris. That I have been cheating on you for three years because you were a drag, because you were boring, because you got on my nerves, because you were embarrassing . . . you acted like a homosexual and you couldn’t carry on an intelligent conversation.”
