The MTV Movie Awards is always a bit of a fashion toss-up. You never know what you’re gonna get and the results may be frightening. Furthermore, being in L.A., the fake-ness sometimes infuses from the cable box. Like Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi from The Jersey Shore questioned her co-star, “Your boobs look phenomenal. Where did you get them?”
So, in a moment of reflection, here are the best and worse looks.
FAIL
Johnny Weir
It’s OK to be flamboyant…we love a good chiffon taffeta ensemble. But sorry Johnny, this is an awards show not a casting call for Peter Pan.
Sean Combs
We know it’s rough for Bad Boy Records these days, but dang homie! Why did you have to jack Mr. T’s jacket and pendant?
Jessica Biel
Admittedly her looks were getting boring. You can always expect Biel to be demure and safe, but she went out-of-the-box this time. Just wish she didn’t take the bow off that box, for her waist.
Christina Aguilera
Sometimes she looks amazing, but sometimes she takes it too far. This Versace “mullet” gown would have worked with just the chains or just the sparkley, ruffled skirt but having both does the MOST.
Lindsey Lohan
It’s not surprising that her Pamela Dennis jumper makes her look like a trashy Studio 54 dancer. We just wanted to keep hope alive…eh, maybe the next award show. #FAIL
FAB
Sandra Bullock
She looked stunning and hot at the same time, in her backless mini dress.
T.I.
You would have thought this man just walked off a yacht, rather than a 366-day prison sentence. He sure looked dapper in his cream suit with salmon button up.
Whitney Port
The Hills fan or not, you’ve got to love a fresh face with youthful, but age-appropriate dress. Yellow is your color, Whitney girl!
Eva Mendes
This is a simple look that has enough flare to set it off for a night out. As usual, Eva’s makeup is on point and her gold jewelry works perfectly with her olive skin.
Dwayne Johnson
