DMX is known for doing some pretty off-the-wall things, but this appears to one of his most outlandish deeds yet. While staying at an unspecified hotel, the 42-year-old rapper decided that it was the perfect time to run nudie laps around the hallway, and so he did it. Of course, it was all captured on tape.
In the footage acquired by TMZ, the troubled rapper can be seen running around a corner in the hotel hallway, dropping his draws while offering a mischievous and running a lap around the hallway. Somehow, he avoided being discovered by a hotel staff member, who turned the corner moments after he began his nudie run. After the staff member made her way down the hall, X can be seen going back to retrieve his boxers. Once he puts them back on, he simply walks away as if nothing happened.
When asked by TMZ why he decided to run around the hotel in the nude, X responded:
“[I] felt like [it].”
“I’m not ashamed of anything I got.”
X’s publicist, Domenik Nati, however, told The YBF that he was simply following through on a dare.
“DMX was [at] a Detroit hotel with his DJ (DJ NonStop) and his road manager (Montana) before his performance withEve and Lil Kim on August 31st. X and the team were killing time at the hotel before the concert and dared each other to streak in the hallway. No one was aware that security cameras were rolling and it was just a playful dare between friends,” Domenik said.
