The Chemistry Just Wright

This movie was a bit of a conundrum for me. I liked Common’s performance. I liked Latifah’s performance; but something about the two of them together didn’t quite click for me. It was almost there but not all the way. The two of them seemed more like good platonic friends than budding lovers. Did anybody else feel that way watching this movie?
