Everyone loves drama. Displaying a bit of foul behavior on camera is enough to draw rave speculation. These villains are unafraid to speak their minds or battle it out with the girl next door: all for success, control, men, or social welfare. Under the surface, these divas have brought out some of the worst and best in reality television which makes infamy…well, kind of exhilarating!
Check out reality television’s most infamous stars:
Omarosa from “The Apprentice”
One of the most infamous women on reality television, Omarosa Stalworth made headlines as a loathsome contestant on Donald Trump’s NBC reality series, “The Apprentice” in 2004 battling it out with fellow contestants to win the coveted business executive position. Some spats occurred when Omarosa accused her partner for making racial epithets against her. She made enemies along the way, finally ending her run on the show. Since then, she’s been given the opportunity to work with Trump again on a new reality dating series, “The Ultimate Merger” in her quest to find love. But, she will forever be coined as the most disdained woman on television.
New York from “I Love New York” and “Flavor of Love”
Thanks to Flavor Flav for introducing the most talked about diva in reality show history. Tiffany Pollard a.k.a. New York entered the reality T.V. scene as one of 25 women vying for the rapper’s heart on the first and second seasons of “Flavor of Love.” New York instantly rolled up her sleeves in an attempt to bout with women over Flav. The fist fights and brouhahas became notable moments of the show’s success and New York was given her own show, “I Love New York,” and starred in small movie roles.
Hoopz from “Flavor of Love”
Do we all remember the girl who won Flav’s heart on the first season of “Flavor of Love?” Hoopz a.k.a. Nicole Alexander is more than just Flav’s ex-love interest these days. After the show, Hoopz starred in subsequent roles on VH1 and has been seen cuddling with several athletes. Rumor has it that she has worked her way into the arms of a basketball superstar: center, Shaquille O’ Neal, and that the two are engaged after dating for five months. Whatever she has on Shaq has us thinking: what were they thinking?
Danger from “I Love Ray J”
Ray J nearly fell in love with contestant Danger before he ended the relationship during the final stages of his dating show, “I Love Ray J.” Once Ray J got a taste of the real Danger (the girl with the tiger tattoo on her face), she was out the door in seconds. During the show, she tried to cover her tracks as the sincere, love-struck woman belonging to Ray J while making harsh threats to the other contestants behind his back. These days, she is prepared to unveil Ray J’s dirtiest “bad boy” secrets.
Snooki from “Jersey Shore”
One of the eight cast members on the drama-fueled show of “Jersey Shore,” Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is one of the most successful bad girls to draw criticism and praise for her persona on the show. The self-proclaimed guidette whose ambitions lie in breeding attention, partying, and carousing with men was arrested recently for disorderly conduct.
Jade Cole from “America’s Next Top Model”
There have only been a few ANTM models to get on Tyra Banks’ last nerve. Jade Cole rings a bell if you recall the television moments when she picked on the non-threatening contestants of Cycle 6’s “America’s Next Top Model.” When the show began, Banks called her the “undiscovered supermodel.” And her arrogant behavior turned her into the most ill-hearted woman until she was finally let go. Hopefully she learned her lesson!
Tila Tequila from “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila”
The reality television star rose to fame with her VH1 series, “A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.” The show involved high-strung fist fights involving contestants, deeming Tila a temptress in her own right. Since then, she has filmed minor television roles.
Nene from “Housewives of Atlanta”
On the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” housewife Nene Leakes proves that competition is fierce. The network brands the show as the highest-rated show largely due to Nene’s emotional rants: notably the altercation she had with housewife Kim Zolciak and the bitter divorce with her husband Greg Leakes. These days, Nene has a published memoir titled, “Never Make the Same Mistakes Twice” and plans to reprise her role next season. Tune in to see if she can stay out of trouble!
Frankie from “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is”
Frankie Lons, the mother of R&B singer Keyshia Cole was featured on her daughter’s television show in 2006. It was then that she revealed to the world that she was an absentee, unfit mother before Cole pursued a successful singing career. On the show, it appeared that the two would make amends until Lons began showing her true colors. Rumors suggest that mother and daughter have now ceased communication after she made negative comments about Cole’s family life.
Caviar from “I Love Ray J”
Remember the girl with the foreign accent whom Ray J cut from the show, “I Love Ray J?” The woman, who wreaked havoc on the hit VH1 show was responsible for spreading lies and innuendo. She even went as far as to hide the fact that she was single from Ray J which terminated her from the competition. Since then, she went from untalented model to video vixen.
