Rumors are finally being laid to rest about the newest songs from R&B diva, Mary J. Blige, who has been coy on whether or not she will release another studio album.

After the promotional success of “Stronger with Each Tear” last year, the iconic soul singer has paired with Busta Rhymes and Gyptian to record the new single, “Anything You Want” which samples a rendition of reggae-old school beats unlike her previous material. It is a fresh cut that will surely resonate with the younger crowd, but she also delivers “Breakup to Makeup” that offers an up-tempo flavor that is definitive of the ’90s music that made her a signature powerhouse.

Currently, both tracks are receiving modest radio airplay.

There is no street date for Blige’s next album but it will also feature producer Swizz Beatz.

Blige is also busy on a national headlining tour that will kick-off Oct. 2 in Atanta with fresh faces, Jasmine Sullivan and Miguel. Recently, it was announced that veteran musician El Debarge will join the tour after a 12-year hiatus from the concert arena. His album will which drop later this fall, and the single and video “Second Chance” is out now.
