Through ‘Weekly Wardrobe,’ we’ll give you some great ideas about what colors and pieces to wear for the week, hopefully making your life a whole lot easier…
This week, we are inspired by Eva Mendes. The actress has a refined and feminine, yet sultry style that always keeps us guessing. Here are five Eva-inspired outfits that you can easily wear to work and after-hours.
Look like a goddess in this white maxi dress, accessorized with cork sandals. Eva’s dress is by Chloe, but we found a great match by Asos. The sandals are available at Aldo for only $34.98!

Mendes paired harem pants with a tiered top and accessorized with a white tote and metallic pumps. The key to rocking these pants is to get a modified version. Don’t buy the Hammer pants, just a relaxed, baggy pant will do the trick for this look. These at YesStyle are $48. We also found a similar top at Karma Loop.
At the launch of her “Vida For Espana” line at the Macy’s Home Store in Los Angeles, actress Eva Mendes got dressy in a red-and-pink floral Christian Lacroix dress topped off with a plush clutch and peep-toes. We found a dress with the same a-line shape, but with darker colors for the fall by Miss Selfridge and a bronze metallic peep toe for $95 by Paris Hilton.
For her “Bad Lieutenant” premiere, Eva chose to go braless, which we definitely don’t recommend, especially for the workplace. The leading lady still looked great in this white shirt and ruffled skirt combo by Donna Karan. Modify this look for work with a streamlined skirt (it still has some ruffle) like this one from Revolve Clothing for $70. Pair it with a white button- down shirt you probably already have in your closet, some black heels and a beaded choker and you are golden!
Eva in this Calvin Klein (she’s the lingerie model for the designer) silk dress is all about simplicity, but don’t you love the glamour it’s giving as well? The shades, shoes and clutch bring it all together. Though not a Calvin, this silk Alberta Ferretti dress is an amazing find at only $190! Available at The OutNet. The suede heels are by BCBG, $90 at Heels.com, and the clutch is from Lori’s Shoes.
