While VH1 is targeting a younger audience, they should still give us a bio about one of R&B ‘s most influential singers–Mr Luther Vandross. He has sold over 25 million albums and even has an album out now entitled, Hidden Gems, with rare live performances and unreleased tracks from his career. He is the only R&B artist to have a top ten hit from 1981 to 1994, and he’s accomplished so much more. It would be nice to get to know more about his back story, his personal life, and about his health issues. His story would be a pleasant and interesting one and could remind us of what a true artist is.
