Wyclef Jean greets supporters Thursday in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, after announcing his run for presidency. “If I can’t take five years out to serve my country as President,” he said, “then everything I’ve been singing about, like equal rights, doesn’t mean anything.” We thought of a bunch of reasons why this is a good move for ‘Clef, but apparently his former Fugee bandmate, Pras Michel, does not agree and is not supporting Wyclef’s run, because he is not the most competent. Is Pras hating or does he have a point?
