Mariah Carey has dropped out of Tyler Perry’s screen adaption of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf. The move has fueled gossip about the star’s personal life.

According to Bossip, Carey’s withdrawal has sparked chatter that she and hubby Nick Cannon are expecting.

The singer, 41, and her husband, 29, have been married for two years. In a 2009 interview, while promoting Perry’s hit Precious, Carey downplayed bun-in-the-oven buzz telling Larry King: “It would be the happiest thing in my life but what I’m saying is right now with this movie coming out, with the next few singles from the album and those things that I’m doing, I need to focus on that because I cannot do the having-a-child thing halfway.”

Maybe she’s focusing now….
