Managing millions of dollars may seem like a daunting task, but Angelique Cannon is up for the challenge. For the past 20 years, she has worked on high-level political campaigns and fundraising committees.
In January 2019, she was announced as the Finance Director for Senator Kamala Harris’ historic presidential campaign. She used her financial expertise in her role as the mid-Atlantic finance director for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2016. The Howard University alum developed and executed a $145 million plan during her tenure as the National Finance Director at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) (2011-2014).
No stranger to the organization, Cannon’s work with the DSCC dates back to 1999, when she worked as the Western Regional Finance Director. She also served as the Vice President of Development for Emily’s List, an organization dedicated to helping pro-choice Democratic women candidates be elected into office.
