If you’ve ever done the individual lash extensions, a job well done can make you feel quite fancy for a few weeks. But if you have an eyelash tech like the one who gave Tamar Braxton her most recent set of individual lashes, you might find yourself less than pleased, and looking like you were attacked with tweezers.

The 42-year-old singer had a great sense of humor about it while showing off her lashes on Instagram. She had only a few individual extensions left on each eye, and they stood out because they were so much longer than her natural lashes.

“Ladies pick ya lash girl wisely!!” she wrote. “They don’t have NO love for you if u walking around like this!!!!” adding the hashtag, “#sorrytomylashes.”

While lash extensions can last as long as six to eight weeks, experts do warn that they can be on the way out a lot sooner based on when your own natural lashes shed. Each extension is attached to your individual lash, so if your lashes tend to pop off in two or three weeks, good luck keeping your extensions in place.

But she’s not alone in looking like this once a lash extension job is ready to pack it up and pop off.

“Once mine started falling out and looking like parenthesis I said that’s the last time lol” said one commenter on her page.

“That’s why I don’t fool with that mess,” said another. “I put individuals on one time and that sh-t had me looking like a bald eyed Ally cat. Never again…”

Maybe strips are her best bet? Or getting refills of the individuals more often? Whatever Braxton chooses to do next about her lashes, she’s certainly learned her lesson about messing with individuals — at least from whomever botched this job.
