Name: Brandi Harvey

Occupation: Entrepreneur

Location: Atlanta

How We Know Her: Good genes. Brandi became a familiar face thanks to her dad, Steve Harvey, and his various platforms.

Why We Chose Her: She’s definitely inherited the spirit of the hustle. Her brand, Beyond Her, takes a 360 approach to wellness, offering an array of services and tools designed to get your mind, body and soul right.

What’s Next: Brandi just released a new book, Breakthrough Sold Separately: Get Out of the Boat of Mediocrity and Walk on Water.

There’s also a few fun facts to know about Brandi Harvey, like the time she took home second place honors in an amateur bodybuilding competition, or that she’s the elder twin to sister Karli, or that she’s the chief changemaker and executive director of The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation. But one thing is certain, Brandi doesn’t live in the shadow of her famous father, and she takes the business of advocating for young people via The Steve Harvey Mentoring Program for Young Men as well as Girls Who Rule the World Mentoring Program very seriously.

She’s also busy sending light to others as the founder of Beyond Her, a wellness brand for women of color that lovingly but firmly reminds them to eat well, give a damn and move their bodies.

Beyond Her boils down the user experience to move, eat, live and be well focus. And Brandi shares her challenges and triumphs to her followers via blogs posts, reminding women to plug into a divine higher power. But most of all, the Ohio State alum believes that to be healed, one must experience being broken. The international speaker coaches women through talks, classes, and her eBook on how to protect the mind, body, and spirit connection on a daily basis. Her eBook takes readers on a 4-week journey to living a plant-based lifestyle (via recipes and grocery lists) and weekly inspirational messages and journal prompts.
