She’s getting close to the end!
Model and actress Amber Rose has reached nine months of pregnancy, and she’s getting ready for the arrival of her baby boy with boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards.
In a video she shared with fans in her shoe closet, the 35-year-old gave fans an update on this lengthy gestation period, revealing that she’s on bed rest these days. As she stood up to fill everyone in on her progress, it was clear that she was finding herself out of breath pretty easily.
“So as of today, I am nine months pregnant, y’all! It’s not a game, that’s a big boy in there. Sheesh!” she said. “I’m pretty much on bed rest at this point. I can’t walk that well. My ankles got a little swollen, my feet got a little swollen, but for the most part, I’m all belly. He’s coming soon! Can’t wait.”
Amber captioned the video, “Big Boy! 9 months! Almost there!” she said. “@ae4president Thank you for this Wonderful Gift! P.S I’m literally out of breath just standing up.”
The beauty announced back in April that she was expecting. This is her second child, as she has 6-year-old son Bash with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa.
It hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy this second time around. She was diagnosed with hyperemesis, extreme morning sickness, and noted that she didn’t feel supported by her friends as she dealt with being ill.
“Funny how my phone blows up when I’m having pool parties and sh-t is lit. But as soon as a b—h is sick and pregnant it’s crickets,” she wrote in a since deleted Instagram post. “No ‘Just checking on you’ text or nothing sh-ts wild. But when I pop out this BEAUTIFUL Strong baby boy don’t try to be my friend again. Toxic a– fake friends byeeeeeeeeee.”
Amber also canceled her SlutWalk this year because she felt it necessary to protect her energy for the sake of her child.
“I’ve been laying so low during this pregnancy…. no Toxicity will be tolerated over here only Positive vibes,” she wrote in August. “F–k fake friends and their weirdo s–t. I’d rather just have my family and my team. P.S This is also why I’m not having my Slutwalk this year…. Sorry I just have to protect my energy and peace.”
Through all the ups and downs though, it’s helped Amber be able to get this far in her pregnancy. Soon enough, she will welcome her son and have a lot more testosterone running around the house. Until then, bed rest and relaxation it is!
