After a confusing few weeks, it certainly looks as though Emily B and Fabolous are very much together, especially after he shared a photo of the two having a very interesting date night.
The rapper, who is usually pretty private about his relationship with Emily, decided to let everybody know they’re good via an image of them together at the strip club. He captioned the photo, “Date Nights.” The two were at New York’s Starlet’s Gentleman’s Club, doing hookah, throwing dollars on the backsides of dancers. Emily didn’t look that into it, but she had a friend with her to chat with while Fab did his thing.
This “romantic” outing comes after Fabolous passionately defended himself from reports that he had broken up with Emily after he was photographed having lunch with another woman. He took to Instagram Live to say that the woman was a Brooklyn-based teacher he was looking to collaborate with to help inner city kids. He made it clear that he has been and plans to continue fighting for his family.
“Me and Emily have been through a lot. I know y’all have seen that. I haven’t always been the best but I love Emily. I love Emily to death. That’s the mother of my kids,” he said.
“The narrative is that I love Emily. That’s the mother of my kids. I’m not gonna let y’all f–k that up. For some fake sh-t? For what, a story just to click on? For everybody to talk about? Then whatever come behind it…then it looks like it’s on me. Whatever happens, it’s ‘Oh yeah Fab…’ Nah. Especially when I’m trying to f–king be with this woman.”
Emily never spoke on the photos of Fab or his emotional IG moment. She did, however, share a cryptic message that read, “This often offends people when I say this but I don’t care. My mental health is a priority over any friendship or relationship. I’ll lose anyone and anything before I lose my mind.” She captioned the message, “this has been my mood all year!”
It certainly appears that she’s not looking to lose Fabolous anytime soon though. The couple have been together for 15 years and share two sons, Johan and Jonas.
