Married to Medicine -- Season 6

Married to Medicine is set to return, and there are some big changes, including no-longer-married-to-medicine star Quad Webb entertaining possible suitors post-divorce, Toya and Dr. Eugene being forced from their home, and even a new face joining the group.

But first, all of the ladies you’re used to are returning: Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush-Harris, Quad Webb, Dr. Contessa Metcalfe and Mariah Huq. When the trailer starts, we see all of the women (dressed in white at one of their many parties/gatherings) agreeing on girl codes to keep the peace in their friendships and hold each other accountable when necessary. Then the fun begins with a peek at a few trips, exotic animals and costume parties.

We see Quad getting back out there dating after her divorce from Dr. Greg, but she isn’t necessarily blown away by her prospects, preferring to enjoy her own company for the first time in a long time.

“I’m okay with being single,” she said. “I take very good care of myself, by myself, if you know what I mean.”

Then the drama begins.

Old trust issues arise between Dr. Jackie and her husband Curtis, whom she tells in the clip, “I feel like you’re not telling the whole truth. I don’t like that feeling.”

Dr. Contessa feels her husband, Dr. Walter, is turning their kids against her, and Dr. Simone and Quad can’t seem to get on one accord.

“It’s hard to keep track of Quad’s different feelings about me — and her wigs.”

As for that new face we were telling you about, her name is Buffie Purselle. She is the wife of psychiatrist Dr. David Purselle, and according to Bravo’s synopsis, “she’s very proud of it.” A new friend to the group, she’s very excited to join the ladies this season and looking to bring something different to the show as she says she’s “not your average Doctor’s wife”:

If you’re looking to catch up with the ladies of Married to Medicine and meet the newest Mrs., the new season will premiere on Bravo on Sunday, September 8 at 9/8c.
