NBA point guard Kyrie Irving has had a successful career in the league. He was a number one draft pick in 2011. A a six-time all star. He was named MVP of the All Star team in 2014. And in 2016, he was an integral part of the Cleveland Cavaliers winning the championship over the Golden State Warriors.
For all of his accomplishments, there is a certain sect of people, many of them being Black women, who know him primarily for his dating history. There was the infamous “White Girl” yacht party. His relationship with Kehlani—which ended in a way that had the public believing that she cheated. The backlash was so severe, it triggered Kehlani’s depression and she had to be hospitalized after attempting suicide. (It would take years for Kyrie to acknowledge that she didn’t do anything wrong and apologize for allowing people to think that she did.)
Given all of the drama attached to his romantic life, one could assume that Irving would keep his business out of the public eye. But there’s a new lady in his life and he’s showing her off.
On his Instagram page, the baller made his new relationship official by posting a whole video montage of him and Marlene Wilkerson on their various adventures.

The video is pretty cute.
Wilkerson is a YouTuber with a business marketing degree. Apparently, she’s pretty good at what she does and has reportedly made $20,000 a month from blogging. If you follow her channel, she has a lot of good information about beauty, hair and fitness.
