Tameka “Tiny” Cottle has a great sense of humor. She proved that with a post she shared on Friday, where the star said her look for a visit to The Real this week was inspired by, of all people, Miss Piggy, the Muppet. The Xscape singer wore a velvet pink blazer dress and a bleach blonde hairstyle for her visit to the talk show.
“Channeling Ms/Mrs Piggy,” she wrote, “That Bitch who had it all!!!”
What the haters meant for evil…
She has come a long way with this whole Miss Piggy thing, if you didn’t know. Tiny has fielded all sorts of comments over the years from detractors (and flat-out trolls) who’ve said that she resembles the famed Muppet. While people doled out such comparisons to hurt her feelings, the 43-year-old has been a fan of the character for some time, so she hasn’t let it mess her with her.
“miss piggy was a bad bissh!” she said in 2017 in response to such remarks. “She kept a nicca (Kermit) crazy bout her & was dripping with diamonds and $! Check! I did that!”
“Miss Piggy is that b—h! Imma make a motherf–king shirt and put Miss Piggy on that hoe to let y’all know I don’t give a f–k about that.”
And for the record, if she ever does get weary of who and what people claim she looks like, Tiny can find comfort in the fact that her husband has her back in terms of how the public treats her. In case you missed it, back in March, he cussed everybody out, particularly “young black women,” for talking crazy about her in a photo he posted of the pair with their kids.
“What do y’all really hope to achieve by coming on my page speaking ill of my wife under a picture of my family???? WTF make y’all think I’m just gon let y’all Try ME & MINES????” he said. “I’m showing restraint because y’all are young black women and IM TRYING MY BEST to respect you and uplift you like you ALL DESERVE. But YALL GOT ME F—-D UP SHAWTY….”
He said the same ones talking about her negatively, “be out here shaped like a whole 2liter Peach Faygo and got the nerve to make critical, disrespectful comments about MINES?!?! I obviously love it and have loved it for over 18yrs now… IF YOU HAD A MAN, WHO LOVED YOU AS MUCH AS I LOVE HER I doubt you’d be miserable enough to leave such hateful comments. Let’s not have this discussion again… Now Get a Life witcha goofy a–ses.”
Whether you think she looks like the legendary puppet or not, as they say, somebody like it.
