The saga between Pepa, her boyfriend Aundre Dean, and his estranged wife Jordyn Taylor has another chapter. The last we heard, Pepa was attempting to defend herself against the allegations that she stole Dean away from his happy home, including a wife, a son, and a newborn daughter.
Pepa alleged that she was not a homewrecker. In fact, she claimed that she was helping to pay for the estranged wife’s apartment.
Jordyn maintained that that was not the case. In the divorce proceedings, Jordyn said:
“He abandoned me and our one-year-old son and cheated on me with another woman. He has not paid any support and I am the victim of domestic violence, and there is currently a TRO (temporary restraining order) in place.”
She continued, “I can’t explain Aundre’s erratic behavior. I believe this is just another stunt for his reality show. His girlfriend, Pepa, from the old hip hop group Salt n Pepa – have decided to make their relationship public on social media and on their reality show ‘Growing Up Hip Hop,’ which has caused some public black-lash [sic], as Aundre is still legally married with a pregnant wife. He has destroyed me and my family on social media and TV. I have been publicly humiliated at my home, work and school.”
But interestingly enough, Jordyn and Aundre have found a way to work through this betrayal and public embarrassment. The couple each posted photos of them celebrating Easter together.

In a post on her blog, Jordyn shared what little things helped her reach this point.
“Little things like Facebook memory notifications, or our son asking, ‘Where’s Daddy?’ were daily reminders of the vows he broke…But, raising our kids alone is a frequent reminder that my partner-in-crime forever is gone…Life is a marathon, not a race. And, anger was too heavy for me to carry along with two babies.”
For the forgiveness part, Jordyn shared that she relied on God’s word.
“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”
Having mercy doesn’t mean all of Mr. Dean’s dirty deeds are dismissed.
It just means I decided to make peace with him.
Forgiveness for me was letting go.
It had little to do with feelings for my ex, or trust.
I’m still hurt.
But, I had to forgive because punching him in the face was unacceptable.
Forgiveness freed us both.”
Apparently, that freedom led to a reconciliation, which Jordyn attributed to the Lord.
