(Politics365) — The all inclusive Texas Legislative Black Caucus recently welcomed its two newest members. Representatives-elect Stefani Carter and James White are two of the newest additions to the caucus, but unlike the body’s majority democratic membership, both Carter and White are Republican. The two GOP’ers both ran on the national Republican Party Platforms of cutting government spending and shrinking the size of government. Nationalizing their local election and toting the Republican ideological line of the past two years contributed to their victory during the midterms of 2010.
