People thought that the ongoing beef between Kimbella and Yandy had been squashed when they saw pictures of Smith attending Kimbella’s wedding to rapper Juelz Santana.
But since that time, Kimbella has done something to that Yandy has described as unforgivable.
In an interview with Bossip, Yandy explained that Infinity, her foster daughter, who she mentored for three years, is a welcome addition and a blessing to her household.
Which is why she was particularly offended by comments Kimbella made about Yandy’s decision to bring the girl into her home.
During a recent episode of “Love & Hip Hop,” Maggie told Yandy that Kimbella spoke against her children when she said that Yandy only decided to foster Infinity “for clout.”
But Kimbella said that she didn’t speak against any of Yandy’s kids, just Infinity. But she did believe that Yandy is fostering to try and “look good.”
She said, “I didn’t talk about the kids with an s. I’ve only spoke about…. I [said] that she was probably just doing it to just make herself look good and I HOPE it’s not the reason, and that’s how I feel about it.”
Yandy said Kimbella’s comments were the nail in the coffin of their friendship.
“Where I draw the line is, you don’t talk about my children. That is something that is unforgivable to me. Because not only are you insulting my character as a mother to her. You’re insulting my character as a mother to the two that you held, the two that you were there when they were born. Because for you to say that I would bring a whole human being into my household and jeopardize the safety of my new baby—these are still babies… It’s unacceptable.
Yes, I was in the wedding, yes I stood by her side and I was happy to be there. Because I was there from the beginning of that relationship until now. I definitely felt proud to be there but that was a week and a half before that episode aired. And I put up a post and I said, ‘Wow.’ Every feeling, every emotion that I had came and I was just shocked that you could sit and speak on my relationship with a child that you’ve never met, that you’ve never seen me interact with… You tried to insult my character as a mother. I do a lot of things well, but the thing that I’m the best at is being a mother. So that’s the wrong thing for you to insult me with.
To use a child as a pawn to insult my character is wrong. You never know what these children going out and getting bullied. ‘Oh, that relationship is fake. You’re going to be back in the system!’ How could you be a mother and be ok with that? Thank God that we have made her super confident and she is super loved and everyday I tell how beautiful and amazing and how much she means to me…So she’s confident in that now… but she had to question like, ‘You were okay standing beside someone in a wedding who said this about me, said that our relationship was fake and said that.
In two weeks since that episode aired, that’s more than enough time to apologize. That’s more than enough time to say, ‘I wasn’t fooling with you but I shouldn’t have did that.’ There were other people in that scene, every single person has reached out to me. People make mistakes. The money is dangling in your face. But nobody pays you less to just shut the f*ck up sometimes. You don’t get paid no less.
Before being a friend, my sister, you’re a mother. And you’re the mother of a teenager who has also gotten bullied. You know better. So for that alone, unacceptable.”
