Intercity Bus Lines Beef up D.C. Service

(Washington Business Journal) — Two low-fare intercity bus lines that operate out of Washington are expanding service. Megabus.com, which offers fares for as little as $1 to some destinations, is adding daily D.C. routes to Boston, Toronto and a handful of cities in Virginia and North Carolina. Megabus.com starts service to the new cities Dec. 15. Megabus.com already offers service from D.C. to Philadelphia, New York and Baltimore. Its buses depart from a parking lot at 10th and H streets NW.
