Khia, the original “Thug Misses,” unveiled her new and very curvaceous figure this week. The 40-year-old “My Neck, My Back” rapper went to see famed Atlanta surgeon Andrew Jimerson II, M.D., better known as Dr. Curves, to help her transfer fat from her back to her backside. The surgery took place six weeks ago, and the big reveal happened on Thursday:
If you thought she was excited with the results, you should see how giddy she was as she prepared for the procedure. She went so far as to remix her hit song for the doctor, singing, “Dr. Curves got my body like this/Get your curves and don’t you miss,” and “Your waist, you snatched/Your curves, just like that.”
The Philly-bred singer and songwriter said she decided to have the procedure done as a 40th birthday gift to herself (Wikipedia says 41, but she says 40, so we’re sticking with that).
“This is my 40th birthday gift. I’m trying to get my body contoured,” she said. “As I got older, my muscles is kind of softer, not like they were when I was in my 20s. So I’m coming to get contoured and the ultimate shape that I want. Move this over here, move this over there! Give me a little more hip and put me back in my 20s again.”
Dr. Curves has worked on a number of well-known people, including Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Jhonni Blaze (whom he recently did ab etching for), as well as Tamika Scott of Xscape and Lelee from SWV. Just as those women were happy with their results, so is Khia.
And she already has a message for people who have made less than positive comments about her getting her teeth done next.
“I paid for the a–, they gotta pay for the teeth,” she said. “#IfYouWantItYouGotToSpendItBaby.”
