(Chicago Sun Times) — A former top aide to Cook County Board President Todd Stroger learned Wednesday she would spend a third night behind bars.
The family of Carla Oglesby can’t come up with the money to bail her out, her attorney Anthony Schumann said on Wednesday.
“We’re still working on it,” Schumann said by phone Wednesday.
Oglesby, 41, has been jailed since Monday on charges she handed out $300,000 in county contracts for work that was never done.
