Vincent Gray Reaches Out After Win
(Washington Business Journal) — Vincent Gray, the District’s presumptive mayor-elect, said Wednesday his transition will be inclusive of his “One City” message, promising to hold a series of town hall meetings over the next seven weeks to ensure all District residents have a role and voice in his administration.
“There were lots of people who voted for me, and there were lots of people who did not vote for me,” Gray said outside the Washington Court Hotel, his victory party headquarters. “Frankly, I believe in my heart in one city.”
