(Crain’s) — Johnson Publishing Co.‘s flagship magazines, Ebony and Jet, kept losing readers in the first half of the year.
Monthly Ebony’s average circulation fell 14% to 1.11 million for the first half, compared with the same period in 2009, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
Weekly Jet’s circulation declined 12% to 762,250, ABC said. The circulation figures include single-copy sales, subscriptions and some targeted unpaid deliveries.
