Fans and their obsessions with celebrities can oftentimes border between crazed or morose, and a recent account by Janet Jackson proved this.
The “Made for Now” singer sat down with radio host Big Boy of Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Monday to talk about the one time a fan sent her a jar of semen. Yes, you read that correctly.
According to Jackson, it topped the list of the wildest thing that a fan has ever done.
“Janet what’s the craziest thing a fan has done?” Big Boy asked.
“Oh there’s been a couple. Sent me a picture of himself with an erection and a jar of semen so he could get me pregnant because I was supposed to have his child,” Janet responded as her voice significantly decreased to a whisper. We’re not sure if she was just embarrassed or if the moment made her relive the traumatic experience all over again.
Jackson didn’t elaborate further so we really have no way to get receipts to track down the who, what or where of what went down. All we know is that one time, in a particular place, a male fan thought it was ok to hand one of the most famous people in the world a jar of his bodily secretions. And the fact that he also gave her a photo of his erect penis, gives us the ultimate pause. There are literally no words for this.
In more tame expressions of fandom, Jackson also said that she has a large collection of memorabilia that her fans give her while she’s on tour and that she keeps it all.
Speaking of fans, Jackson also took some time to teach Big Boy the iconic choreography to her 1988 hit “Rhythm Nation.”
We’re glad Jackson can mention the craziness and move on, but seriously, the public might appreciate a timeline on when this occurred because it’s just too crazy to believe!
