You’re Holding On To The Past

When you’re afraid to step outside your comfort zone, it could be due to the past. Suffering the effects of past trauma from something negative that happened previously or constantly revisiting a time in your life when you were happier and more free, are both ways that holding on to the past is preventing you from embracing your future.

There is nothing wrong with holding on to your memories from past experiences, but they shouldn’t be the driving force of your life today. Put the past in the back of your mind without completely erasing it and you’ll be more open to trying new things a lot sooner.
