Whether they’ve been married for five minutes, just gone public with a new relationship or stepped on the red carpet after simply enjoying a hearty meal, celebrity women can’t seem to avoid pregnancy rumors. Your fave, Beyoncé, has dealt with them since way before she actually ended up pregnant with daughter Blue Ivy. If she holds her laptop or bag in front of her stomach, she’s pregnant. And if after having twins a year ago, her stomach isn’t as flat as some might expect, she’s pregnant. That’s what everyone had to say after seeing this video of her on stage for the On the Run II tour recently:

But the 36-year-old decided to indirectly respond to those rumors this week while on stage. The 36-year-old star told her fans, “You know your flaws make you beautiful, right? You know that right?” before patting her stomach and her thighs:

It won’t be the last time that she deals with the rumors, especially since she unexpectedly announced she was having twins. But if history has taught us anything, it’s that if sis is expecting, she will let fans know when she’s good and ready.

Hit the flip for nine other famous women who can relate to being hit with such rumors, only for them to not be true.

Halle Berry

Despite rubbing her stomach at an event last year, Halle Berry’s rep said stories that she was pregnant were “completely untrue.” And she said her belly was simply a temporary bulge brought on by a good meal:

Keyshia Cole

After posing for pictures with her new man Niko that made it look like her stomach was sitting out a tad bit, fans jumped to the conclusion that Keyshia Cole was pregnant. She repeatedly denied the rumors, until she decided to turn them on people and claim she was pregnant. Eventually, she revealed she wasn’t pregnant and told that story to prove a point about fat-shaming:

Meagan Good

After stepping out with a small stomach at an event in 2013, Meagan Good quickly shut down rumors that she was expecting.

“I’m not pregnant!” she said. “It’s called too much pizza, too late at night.  I saw the picture….One picture my stomach looked flat, the other it looked like a baby bump. I was like ok.”

Nicki Minaj

When she went MIA for a few months from social media and public view to work on her album, Queen, the few times she was spotted, fans speculated that Nicki Minaj went away because she was pregnant. The fact that she was a bit thicker helped to push that rumor. But months later, there’s been no sign of a bump, just curves.

Brandy

The rumors about Brandy being with child haven’t completely gone away, but they started more than a year ago when the singer hit the stage with a little more weight on her, particularly around her stomach. She said on numerous occasions that she wasn’t pregnant, wasn’t anybody’s surrogate or anything like that — just eating good for the first time in years.

“I didn’t think the pregnancy thing was body shaming. Like people were calling that body shaming. I didn’t feel that from people who obviously thought I put on weight and ‘She’s got to be pregnant.’ I didn’t take offense to that for years,” she said. “But it’s been years now. I went on a foodcation because I’d been eating clean for seven something odd years, in the gym, every day, playing tennis. I was like, ‘Yo, I’m tired of this crazy discipline. I need something to eat! I want some pasta! I want some pizza! I want some cake! I want something other than salmon, broccoli and asparagus and water! Every day! Right after Roxie in Washington D.C., I went on a foodcation, honey. And I’m telling you, it’s been very tough for me to want to get off of it.”

Monica

Singer Monica found herself dealing with pregnancy rumors, with some sites even fully confirming through a “source” that she was indeed with child after she was seen with a little more weight on her earlier this year. But the star said it was just that and that alone — weight. But no worries, her husband likes it, and so does she:

Rihanna

Who could forget all the pregnancy rumors Rihanna dealt with last year? Known for being teeny most of her career, when she put on some weight, the Internet had questions. But Ri said that at whatever weight she is, she embraces her body.

“You’ve just got to laugh at yourself, honestly,” she told Vogue. “I mean, I know when I’m having a fat day and when I’ve lost weight. I accept all of the bodies. I’m not built like a Victoria’s Secret girl, and I still feel very beautiful and confident in my lingerie.”

Porsha Williams

The RHOA star has been dealing with pregnancy rumors for years (including some new ones that have popped up). In 2014 though, they were strong for a while after she posted pics seemingly hiding her stomach.

But she would clear them all up by posting a picture of herself in a sports bra and workout pants showing she was without child.

“Bringing a child into the world is an experience I pray God will bless me with someday,” she said. “However at this time despite the persistent rumors, as you all can see, I AM NOT PREGNANT!”

Tia Mowry

Before getting pregnant with her second child, Cairo, Tia Mowry was constantly asked about whether or not she was pregnant, especially after sister Tamera became pregnant with daughter Ariah. It happened more and more after Tia gained a few pounds from cooking up meals on her Food Network show. She let people know, by calling out fat-shaming, and by just keeping it very real, that she wasn’t expecting:
