It can be really discouraging fighting the good fight, wondering if men, particularly Black men, will ever get on board with the ways in which misogyny hurts not only women but men as well. It’s crippled men, allowing them to remain stagnant in so many ways. We see it represented in some many arenas but it’s particularly egregious in the church. So many of us can recall entire sermons dedicated to the ways in which women can be and do better in relationships and in the relationships they’re seeking.
