When you’re in a relationship, some of the best inspiration to take your fitness to the next level can come from your partner. And when you’re married to one of the most physically strong, fit and active athletes in the world, one can’t help but feel motivated to get moving.
One of LeBron James’s favorite things to do during the off-season is spend time with his family and train in preparation for the next NBA season (where he’ll end up playing this fall is still in question since he’s a free agent). He brought those two things together for a workout with his wife, Savannah.
The mom of three did side lunges, barbell squats, elevated core work with the help of an exercise ball, and balancing on a dumbbell, all as her husband recorded and encouraged her.
Couples who work out in beast mode together, stay together!
These two root for each other more than anybody else in all endeavors, including fitness. But as LeBron made it clear last year, if you ask him, he is happy with Savannah, no matter what size or fitness level she is at. That is his “queen.”
When she shared a picture of a plate of sliced meat and apples covered in cinnamon to signal that she was cleaning up her diet, LeBron said he supported her in any and everything.
“I mean if u wanna do that to yourself I understand but u look damn good to me anyway u are!!” he wrote on Instagram. “I’m supporting the cause though #TeamSnapback My Queen”
This bond they have was made in high school and is still going strong. LeBron and Savannah have been married since 2013 and have three children.
