The Grammys came and went late last month, but a true winner who wasn’t even nominated this year was Gladys Knight. The singer took part in pre-award’s ceremony festivities, including appearing and performing at the annual Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala. Her appearance on the red carpet turned heads, with the 73-year-old singer looking pretty spectacular. She always does, but this time around, her face was absolutely glowing and everyone noticed:

Per the usual, there were questions about whether or not the legendary singer may have had some work done, and weeks after that Grammy appearance, Knight is finally sharing her secret. She says she’s been eating a lot cleaner these days and being more active, enjoying tennis workouts. And having some good genes also helps a lot.
“I feel like I won a gold medal 🎖with all the compliments. You guys keep me young!” Knight said on Instagram. “Thankful for these God given genes and clean living. My activity of choice has been tennis, working my way up to be as good as @serenawilliams and @venuswilliams.”
She also pointed out that her flawless pre-Grammy look was also helped by her makeup artist and her husband, who serves as her unofficial stylist:
But truth be told, Gladys has been stepping out looking her best for some time now. People just didn’t pay attention until recently. Hit the flip for a few more recent images of the star aging backwards and get some tennis and clean living in your own life ASAP.
