(Washington Informer) — The battle for chairmanship of the D.C. City Council will take place between two formidable opponents — men who share the same overall vision for the District but differ greatly in terms of methods and tactics.
D.C. Council member Kwame Brown (D-At-Large) and former D.C. Council member Vincent Orange seek the powerful position of Chairman of the District of Columbia City Council, a seat that will be vacated by Vincent Gray (D) who will face-off against incumbent Mayor Adrian Fenty in the upcoming Sept. 14 Democratic primary.
