(BlackWeb2.0) — When Google launched its famous equation recruitment campaign in Cambridge in September 2004 I was amazed to see how many students from area schools like Harvard and MIT were camped out crunching numbers. Screw class. This was an opportunity for the best to possibly get a position at one of the hottest companies around (Google’s IPO was a month prior) through a direct display of brainpower.
