If you’ve been watching Love & Hip Hop lately, you know that things have really been heating up between cast members. In this week’s episode, we saw characters Rashidah Ali and Raqi Thunda get into a rather heated verbal exchange during a charity event. Things got so out of hand as the ladies hurled below-the-belt insults at one another that event attendees looked on expecting a weave-pulling catfight to break out. Although the dispute did not get physical at the event, an exclusive source tells Madame Noire that they did get into an altercation at the Love & Hip Hop reunion show taping yesterday that forced security to step in.
What caused the the ladies to get physical, you ask? Well, it appears that Raqi isn’t really fazed by people calling her industry p***y and other insults, which imply that she’s promiscuous, but she does get rather bent out of shape when you talk about her child’s father and her religion. And that’s exactly what Rashidah did. Our source tells us that the dispute got turned up a notch when Rashidah called Raqi a “fake muslim.” We’re also told that Raqi lost complete control when the redheaded spitfire began talking about her baby’s daddy, going completely off and storming off of the stage. Clearly, her child’s father is a sensitive subject because even Mona Scott Young said, “Everybody knows they can’t say anything about her [Raqi’s] baby daddy,” revealed our source. Looks like Rashidah knew which buttons to push. We can’t say for sure whether or not the two actually fought before bouncers intervened, but we can confirm that they came very close to tearing each other apart.
We’re also told that Joe Budden and his barely legal girlfriend, Kaylin Garcia have called it quits. But catch this: Joe and Tahiry announced that they are working on their relationship. They’re working on their relationship so much so, that they’re willing to jump into the ring for one another. According to Joe’s Twitter page, during a filming break, as he and Tahiry made their way outside to smoke, Consequence snuck up behind him and sucker punched him, which caused Tahiry to quickly react, “snuffing” Cons. Yes, Tahiry punched a man.
And then of course, there’s Cons’ side of the story.
