    I wish you’d included “Having a Baby”. So many women keep having babies, thinking it will fix a bad relationship, and then they’re left single, with X amount of children, and usually repeat the cycle until they are unable to have any more kids.

    Interesting b/c i tried my best to help my ex when he was depressed and couldn’t find a job. Helped him search, posted his resume on sites. I did everything to help relieve stress b/c i loved him that much and in the end he dumped be b/c he felt that he was not in the place to be in a realtionship and needed to get himself together before trying to love someone. So now I feel hurt b/c I gave my all to someone who left me.

      Yeah the unemployment thing goes both ways.  Sometimes the unemployed partner takes out their frustration on their partner. I’ll support you all day long but refuse to be a punching bag.

    Hardships are a part of any relationship but it should not be the foundation of a relationship.

    I agree…one more thought should be added to this list that I had to experience for myself and that was sickness…he couldnt handle it.

    Ha!I’ve had my fully able bodied unemployed-by-choice mother-in-law come stay at my house with her two underage children for two years before she decided that her grown azz should be biting her toenails during in Hangin With Mr. Cooper reruns in her own damn house.We had just gotten our first place and we had a newborn.Did I mention we only had a two-bedroom townhouse??LOL!!Forget standing the rain,I had to stand through a Category 5 hurricane…
