Women share a lot so it wasn’t hard for me to get women’s ideas on what “good sex” means. Some answers overlap a lot with the men’s answers mentioned in a previous article, and some are totally different, making you wonder how a man and woman can both walk away happy from a hook up session…

“Being communicative in bed”
A lot of women say they have the best sex with guys who are willing to talk about what’s happening while it’s happening — give a little direction and take a little direction.

“Getting lost in the moment”
Other women want total silence! Well besides some moans and groans. They say that since they’re usually so in their own heads, once they’re into sex, any talking just ruins it.

“Being bossed around”
A lot of women like a man who takes control, says when they’re changing positions, what the position will be, how he likes his blow jobs, etc. A man who lets them take control is unattractive.

Sorry guys but, a lot of women reported that most men just don’t have the skills to handle being on top. They said the only way they could orgasm is by being on top and controlling the movements.

More women than you’d imagine are into toys and accessories. If it vibrates, if it’s slippery, if it gives little temperature changes and jolts…they’re into it. In fact, they can’t leave home without it. Or…leave bed?

For some women, this came from a place of insecurity—they felt too self conscious being entirely naked to enjoy sex with their clothes off. For other women, they just liked the sense of urgency.

I expected this answer from the men but it was actually the women who reported loving doing it in “forbidden places.” For some this was as mild as on a private balcony in public view, and for others this meant the back of a cab.

This came as a surprise but ultimately made some sense: a lot of women said that, when they really cared about a guy, they were too self conscious during sex to enjoy themselves. They had their best sex with guys they knew they’d never see again.

“Morning sex”
Women are worriers—by the end of the day, we can have way too much on our minds to enjoy sex. That could be why a lot of women said they love morning sex! Sex before real life comes into play is the best.

I always thought it was mostly men who loved lube, but a lot of women say they can’t have sex without lubricant. They depend on it for giving oral, receiving it, and for foreplay. They love sex with it, and can’t stand sex without it.

Getting enough sleep is crucial to a lot of women when it comes to enjoying sex. A lot of women say they have the best sex after an incredible night’s sleep, and just aren’t in the mood at all when sleep deprived.
